Exercise and Travel

Travelling and exercise can be difficult. A lot of people want to still keep up their exercise routine while they are travelling and want to know an easy way to do this without having to search out a gym or fitness centre especially in a remote setting. While I think it is good to actually rest your body from time to time, for those who are hell bent on doing something physical while travelling the country or in fact the “World”….. I offer the following which may satisfy your need without driving your travel companion completely crazy.
No doubt you will be able to get some walking or running in so the main thing to concentrate on is resistance training. Of course we can all do those body weight exercises, like push-ups pull-ups and sit-ups etc however I have recommended to my avid travellers resistance bands.
They can easily be used to work your whole body in a session and are easy to pack into a suitcase or backpack. These bands can be shortened or lengthened to make the exercise easier or harder and can also be purchased in a range of colours with each colour representing the difficulty of the resistance.

      good to see you back on my blog seems you are living on it these days.. thanks….. how did the tri go today…and yes check out the band exercises on my site nice and easy to take this equipment with us when we travel
