Diabetes and Family History

By knowing you have a family history of diabetes allows you to keep an eye on the early symptoms.  Your first signs may be:

  • Being more thirsty then normal
  • Frequent urination and an increase in both volume and frequency
  • Vision problems
  • Unusual fatigue
  • Frequent hunger pangs

Type II diabetes is the most common form and is also much easier to treat.  A simple blood test after fasting will let you know if this is a problem for you.  Consult your doctor if you have any or all of
he signs above.  Diabetes is treatable but the longer the disease goes untreated the more damage it can cause to your body.
